Introducing Amnic’s All New Cost Analyzer
3 min read
A core tenet of cloud cost observability is cost debuggability. Observability puts the user in control of understanding their costs and any possible deviations in spending or performance issues. Visibility and control in cloud cost management will help you successfully instrument your cloud supply chain. The ability to slice and dice costs across multiple dimensions and parameters becomes paramount as users delve deeper into the attributes of cloud spend.
Amnic’s Refreshed Cost Analyzer
Cost Analyzer provided users the ability to break down costs by different filters or groups. This is step one in giving you an understanding of spending patterns across regions, services, cloud providers, and much more. Cost Analyzer gives you the ability to dissect cloud cost and usage analytics, review dashboards and reports, and make decisions to deliver greater business value.
The new Cost Analyzer builds upon what we’ve already delivered. Cost Analyzer can now aggregate cost streams from multiple sources, providing users with a simplified experience and a distilled view of overall cloud costs.
Alignment With FOCUS™
The Global Stream on Cost Analyzer now aligns with FOCUS™ open source standards to provide contextual information in a common language. Across all major cloud providers, Kubernetes, and many popular SaaS tools, Amnic captures infrastructure costs that help teams gain a granular, organization-wide view of their cloud spend. On top of this, Amnic offers recommendations to improve and optimize performance and efficiency across all cloud environments.
Investigate Across Cloud-Native Dimensions
The Raw Stream provides a view into each cloud provider and serves as an investigative tool, using cloud-native vocabulary so you can easily delve deeper into specific costs, anomalies, or event-based analysis. The new and improved Cost Analyzer offers more filters and groupings, allowing for a more detailed exploration of your cost and usage reports (CUR). Out-of-the-box dashboards and the ability to build custom views provide relevant data to your entire organization across all departments, providing more meaningful reports and analytics.
Expanded Filters and a New User Experience
The new Cost Analyzer offers a range of expanded filters and new groupings, allowing for precise data analysis and streamlined navigation. The new user interface simplifies complex data exploration, making it more intuitive and effective.
With the new Cost Analyzer, teams can create relevant views and visualizations for different personas across varied departments within the organization. It simplifies the process of delivering custom views and relevant reports that drive a richer experience around cloud cost observability.
The rollout of the refreshed Cost Analyzer begins on July 12th, 2024 across Amnic’s customers in a phased approach. All Amnic users will receive access to the update within the month.
